Branding Malaysia : Visit Malaysia Year 2007




Millions has been spent to promote VMY07. Many events has been lined up throughout the year including the recent launch of ���Eye on Malaysia��� and Flora Fest. We believe the intention is beyond targeting for tourist arrival. It is to place Malaysia more prominently in the world map n this competitive global market.



There are many brand promises in the above initiatives but have we manage our brand delivery? The basic issue of dirty toilets, poor taxi services and many others are still not solved. Yes, there will be high brand awareness on Malaysia but what will be the brand image in the eyes of tourists?
